A Refection of My Semester So Far

How is this semester going for you? (Please list 3 areas in which you are doing well, and three areas in which you are struggling.)

So to answer this question, is kind of hard for me- I am a perfectionist- so it is really easy for me to find all my flaws and it is hard for me to recognize what I am doing well. However, I think i'm doing well in participating with my group and contributing to our meetings. I also feel like I have done really well with my attendance in this class (which I am not always so good at). Finally, I feel like I am really excelling in my research and participation in the study topic for this semester. Some things i can improve on is time management, and to go along with that i need to work on preparing myself better for upcoming assignments and commitments for this class. Finally, I think I can also work on the amount of honest-undivided- attention and energy I give to this class to be more spiritually involved and uplifted for it.

• What are some things that you can do to make a difference with the areas in which you are struggling?

I think if I start praying before I do my homework or start my classes for the day, I can really know how to manage my time better and be more spiritually enlightened in the class. I also think, looking at the schedule for the week on the Saturday before hand, will definitely handle my time better.

• Looking ahead in the course, what are you excited for? What are you nervous about?

I am excited to do the extra credit and get to know myself and my boyfriend better, I also look forward to to the final group project. As a psychology major, I really appreciate being given the topic of loneliness and suicide to bring awareness to so I can help others know how to handle the situation for themselves or for others.

• Finally, how are things going with your team? How are they going with the issue that you are working on?

Things with my group are going well, we get a long great and we really work well as a team also. As for the topic we have, there are a small amount of concerns from some specific people in the group about the topic, and for that it is hard to find an equal ground with each other sometimes. However, my group and I always get through it and produce great work towards the end, and I am grateful that everyone participates and gives something to the group.
